snow geese as they migrate from the Arctic....
right here in our community!
**After some research, I believe they are
actually RETURNING to their northern home
where nesting takes place from May to August.
Hard to know for sure....

My friend, Jane, spotted these two visitors
with our Canada geese this morning.
According to my bird guide,
they are snow geese
on their migratory route.
Good spotting, Jane!
