CNN carrying story of release of five exotic animals
to their owner's wife in Zanesville.  The director
is against it, since he saw the deplorable conditions all of the
animals were living in when their owner released 50-some
in October. Forty-eight were killed when they were outside
the compound, threatening safety of citizens.  Owner then
committed suicide at the compound.  These five
were captured and taken to the zoo.

Although I didn't see it,
Ryan had a terrific football game
on Sunday evening!
He was the weekly medalist
with two rushing TDs, one interception,
one extra point catch, and
a number of flag pulls!
'Way to go, Ryan!

Happy Birthday to our son-in-law, Brett!!
As his birthday card stated so well,
he's a special part of the family
because HE VOLUNTEERED!

Sunday was Lindsay's piano recital, and her teacher
chose a folk song theme. Lindsay played
"Country Gardens" with three other pianists,
"Lavender's Blue" as a solo, "Shenandoah" as
a duet with her teacher, ""The Water is Wide"
with three others, and "John Henry" with five
others, on three pianos. It was a great recital!
Congratulations, Lindsay!
