Our outside temp. on porch--7 p.m.--after a full day of rainy driving!

This is something we left in Ohio when we came to Florida today!

A winter twig--this is how it looked when we left Ohio this morning. It's now 45 degrees in SC and supposed to rain tomorrow. Not a bad day--around 600 miles. Now it's fewer than 500 to our destination! Saw some great ice formations and icicles along the highways today; but, alas, can't drive and take photos like some other folks can....

Leave Ohio today??? Don't think so!

Leaving Tuesday morning for Florida. Be back then.

Well, this did not happen. Snow, snow, snow. I 77 looks maybe OK on Thursday. That's our only real concern. We'll see.

Thursday still not certain. Just have to stay put and watch the forecast. Level 2 snow emergencies in some counties we have to cross--not supposed to be there unless necessary.
